British airways.
Just done a long flight with this mob , will try and avoid in future. Upgraded to world traveller plus . . . . I found my seats allocated . . . The staff were miserable . . . Seats uncomfy . . . Very old entertainment .... Food ... Breakfast was a half frozen croissant. . Dinner . . Well, I wish I'd had taken a pasty . Just wondered what your favourite airline is , please give me reasons .

I've always done ok with BA and Virgin.

I try to avoid BA at all costs following two examples of shoddy treatment. I don't fly as frequently as I used to but Emirates and Singapore airlines have treated me properly.

Always try and go BA now after two pretty average flights and experiences with Virgin.... BA have been good as gold with us

Re: British airways.
Best flight experience ever been has been......... Freddie Laker......... yup.... 1996 when they re-branded... flight and serrvice was an absolute dream... massive leather seats with superb pitch... great entertainment.... all at a pinch of a price... no wonder they went under AGAIN a few years later

If you simply look at an airline as a way of getting from A to B then you wont be disappointed.

We use them all the time at work. I find them excellent

BA stands for bloody awful. Having said that long haul business class was good. Also I used to have a gold Exec Club card which meant I was treated better.

Re: British airways.
It does not matter what flight with whatever airline you take you deserve not to be disappointed.

I find that flying with Ryanair or Easyjet is no problem and I more than get what I pay for. Travelling with BA though twice caused problems especially as compared to RyanEasy I was paying a bull shine price and receiving inferior service.

True croe'... always price first with me.... been with a leaky old 747 with travel city direct that got us out to the US for £200 per person.... for 8 hours I can stomach a spring in my backside and a leaky old AC unit

Re: British airways.
Depends which way you're going and which class you're flying in.

West I fly BA or Virgin if in Premium Economy - or AA if in business and it's a route with the new seat. East then Cathay, Qatar or Emirates

Re: British airways.
Oh, and short haul I now tend to avoid BA, unless flying from London City, as they've squeezed two extra rows into all of their planes in a recent re-fit and the legroom is awful now

They think they can treat you like shit.

Worst airline out there. Easyjet far superior.

I'm flying BA tonight so cheers for this.

I've never had an issue with them. Been upgraded for the flight tonight so will see how I go.

Re: British airways.
BA are travelwise toilet. I got up to Gold with them just got ties up with the membership. I've spent 10 year of my last 15 flying regularly with them. If I could go back I'd go with British Midland partners

However the lounge at T5 is awesome. Love the curries, pasta , generally the food is excellent. And the wines. Throw some Kettle chips in the bag and some Cosmo , Hello mags for the girlies.

Used love the Prague tears. Get in lounge at 5pm sunday watch the footie on the big screens in there.

But on the plane shit and lots of delays.

Virgin.

I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than go with BA.
